Almetals equipment can process over 200,000,000 pounds (90,000,000 kgs) of slit coil annually. Slitting is a process used to cut a wide coil of metal into a number of narrower coils, as the main coil is moved through the slitter machine. Our multiple slitting lines enable us to slit material .002"-.190" (0.508 mm - 4.826 mm) thick and in widths ranging from .250"-60" (6.365 mm - 1524 mm) thus allowing us to be your one-stop processor. Widths: 8" to 48"

Lengths: 12" to 144"

Depending upon the gauge and material, our standard length tolerance is +/- 1/8"
