ALMETALS ACQUIRES NEW BUYER

Almetals, Inc., an award-winning specialty metals distributor and slitter, announces that Michael Rapach has accepted a position as a buyer within the organization.
"Michael brings a fresh perspective to this job," says J.W. Chain, purchasing and marketing manager. "His attention to detail and enthusiasm for getting the job done right the first time is an asset to Almetals. His background will enable us to streamline tasks, which is essential to this industry."
Rapach's primary responsibilities will include conducting day-to-day purchasing tasks with the current supply base; as well as to insure proper supply is available to support Almetals' sales staff.
Prior to coming to Almetals, Inc., Rapach worked for the Pall Corporation, Tower Automotive, and Dow Automotive. He holds a bachelor's degree from Oakland University and is currently pursing his master's degree in business administration. Rapach is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the Association for Operations Management, and the American Society of Transportation and Logistics.
